CJ walked out of the theater to blink when she noticed it was now dark She'd gone in at 6 to watch Sweeney Todd. Johnny Depp was extremely hot for an older guy, not to mention was a kick ass actor. So she had to see it. It was currently one of her favorite movies and she couldn't wait till it was out on DVD. The wait was going to drive her nuts.
She'd gone in to watch alone because all of her other friends had been busy. Probably out on dates. Too bad she didn't have any of those anymore. She kind of missed curling up and watching a movie with someone else or going out to eat with them. Or even just hanging out. But that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Damn. When she moved past the area where people were watching Aliens vs Predator, the second movie, she laughed as people ran out screaming. Mostly girls but there were a couple of guys. Now that made her day a little bit better.
As CJ walked she started humming to herself, looking around. It was 9 pm now which meant she could be attacked at any time. It didn't mean she would. Just that it was possible. And she wasn't taking any chances. As she headed down the street she started to sing one of the songs from the movie. It was a creepy one that earned her a couple stares from others around her. Like she cared.
"Not one man, no, Nor ten men Nor a hundred Can assuage me . . . And I will get him back Even as he gloats. In the meantime I'll practice On less honorable throats..."

Dillon stuck his hands into his pocket. It was a little chilly out but nothing he couldn’t deal with. He’d walked all the way across town for no reason, so a little cold was the last thing on his mind. Usually he’d go and hit a movie before heading back home but tonight it was a little more of a walk around town thing. He’d checked the movie listings though and saw the only thing remotely interesting was Sweeny Todd but he wasn’t going to get caught dead there without a girl on his side. At one point he’d thought on taking CJ but then thought that she’d rather see something different. It was only after like eight or so that he remembered she liked things like that. Either way it left him out walking in the cold.
Walking past the theatre he spotted a familiar head in the crowd and made his way towards her. He got separated from her but continued walking in the same direction figuring that he’d catch up with her eventually, either that or he’d see her tomorrow. His converse shoes scraped the side walk as they always did when he drug his feet and his jeans were slightly baggy, giving him a little bit of warmth but not a lot. Rounding the corner he spotted her once more only this time he could hear her singing. Probably a song from her favorite band but still, CJ singing that was something he didn’t know she could do. Taking this chance to sneak up on the girl a little he crept along slowly not letting his feet drag or step on a single leaf.
Hey!” he said quickly as soon as he caught up with her grabbing her back and swinging her around. He had a smile drawn across his face but was still prepared for any punches that might be thrown by the tough girl.

CJ didn't hear the footsteps following her as she continued on her way. She'd finished the first song and was working on another one from Sweeny Todd. It was the Ballad from the begining of the movie, about him. Duh. Anyway she just sang it, not caring who heard her, if she got looks, or even if she was possibly off key.
"Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd. His skin was pale and his eye was odd. He shaved the faces of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard of again. He trod a path that few have trod did Sweeney Todd the demon barber of fleet street. He kept a shop in London town. Of fancy clients and good renown and what if none of their souls were saved they went to their maker impecably shaved. By Sweeney, by Sweeney Todd the demon barber of fleet street.
Swing your razor wide! Sweeney, hold it to the skies. Freely flows the blood of those who moralize. His needswere few, his room was bare. A lavabo and a fancy chair. A mug of suds, and a leather strop, an apron, a towel, a pail, and a mop. For neatness he deserves a nod, does Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street. Inconspicuous Sweeney was, quick, and quiet and clean he was. Back of his smile, under his word, Sweeney heard music that nobody heard. Sweeney pondered and Sweeney planned, like a perfect machine he planned, Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle, Sweeney would blink, and rats would scuttle Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle Sweeney would blink, and rats would scuttle Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle, Sweeney would blink, and rats would scuttle Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle, Sweeney would blink, and rats would scuttle Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeney!
Sweeney Todd Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd! Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd! Sweeney Todd He served a dark and avengeful God! He served a dark and avengeful God! Sweeney Todd
What happened then, well that's the play, and he wouldn't want us to give it away...
Not Sweeney Not Sweeney Todd The demon barber of Fleet... Street..."
CJ finally stopped singing and was just going to keep walking, silent this time, when she was suddenly grabbed. All she had heard was "Hey!" and her mind didn't have enough time to recognize the voice as she yelled out and swung her fist, ready to hit who'd grabbed her. She couldn't catch herself from hitting the guy when she recognized Dillon so hoped to god he would duck. She gasped. "Oh god! Dillon!"

Figuring that she would, and did, punch at the person grabbing her Dillon ducked just in time to feel her fist graze his hair. Smiling up at her overly shocked face, he figured that she’d only realized it was him as she was swinging around to punch him. That or she was just shocked that he had the ability to sneak, both were probabilities. Looking up at her he caught her ‘God Dillon’ and knew it was the first one which only caused him to smile all the more.
“Well it’s good to see you too CJ.” he said with a laugh and a shake of the head letting his gorgeous brown hair fall back into place. “I’m going to assume, that since you were singing, that you just went to see Sweeny Todd.” he said a conclusion he’d come up with after he saw her leave the theatre and noticed that everything else was a horror flick. Yep, his brain amazed him sometimes, tonight wasn’t one of them. “So was it good?” he asked figuring that while she calmed down over nearly taking his head off he could get some details on the movie and see if he should go see it or not, oh the possibilities.

CJ briefly felt his hair against her hand when she swung at him and quickly brought her hand back. This time it moved right above her heart that she could feel beating double time. She couldn't believe she'd almost knocked Dillon out. Damn that had scared her. Even worse when he'd suddenly grabbed her. Caraja was betting that took a couple years off her life and sagged back against the wall beside her. She leaned her head back to stare up at the sky, trying to catch her breath. When it was close to being normal again she looked back at him.
"Dear god, Dillon! Don't scare me like that!" She tried to glare at him for that, but was just too happy to see him to get it out. CJ'd missed him all day. They hadn't seen eachother in the halls or anything since yesturday when they got back from skipping. She smiled though. "Yeah it is good to see you. And yup! Just got out." She blushed slightly at the knowledge that he'd heard her singing. That was embarassing. "Oh yeah. It was amazing. I want to see again, even though I just saw it. Johnny Depp is such an awesome actor and the movie rocked!" She was grinning now, talking about it. It had been an awesome movie. She couldn't wait till it was out on DVD or something.

“More amazing than yours truly here?” he said with a laugh. Yeah tonight he was a little cocky, but hey he’d basically just saved himself from a coma, it was the least he could do for himself, except for maybe going with it. “You really wanna go see it again, well then I guess you’ll just have to come see it with me tomorrow.” he said with a smile that engulfed his entire face. They’d barely seen or heard from each other since yesterday, after their fun little adventure to the worlds of the unknown skippers so tonight right then was a good thing.
“See I was just going to offer to walk you home, or as far as they’ll let me, so you’d feel safer but I think you’ll kill anyone who tries to attack you.” he said trying to bring a smile to her face. It was fun to talk with CJ, almost as fun as he knew it would be once they actually hung out more and started talking more soccer and sports and stuff. “So, may I? Walk you home that is.” he added looking into her eyes with a little bit more seriousness in them than before.

CJ laughed at his egotism, knowing he was just joking. But she went with it because he was cute and funny. "I don't know. He does have a ton of money...." She winked at him. "Just kidding. Of course you're better." And because she was in such a good mood at seeing him, she impulsively gave him a hug.
She blinked at his offer before grinning widely. And she saw an answering smile on his own face. Damn he was hot. "Really?! You mean it right? You want me to go with you?" If he meant it she'd be looking forward to it until then. And she knew she would think of it as a date, even if he didn't mean it that way. Wishful thinking and all that.
CJ raised an eyebrow at his statement while feeling her heart go 'bubump' again. he was saying he wanted to walk her home? Like they'd been on a date? God. She felt another blush slowly crawl onto her cheeks. "They who? Who wouldn't let you walk me home?" She thought he might have given her a backwards compliment but she wasn't sure. So she took it the way she wanted to. Caraja's dark eyes stared into his as they looked at her with seriousness. "I'd love it if you'd walk me home."

He wrapped his arms securely around her body when she hugged him and smiled up to the sky with delight. It wasn’t every day that you got to hug such a beautiful girl. Okay, so Dillon was majorly crushing on her, who wouldn’t be? She was cute, could defend herself and she was into the same sports as he was, what wasn’t to like? Letting her go he stayed relatively close to her but didn’t wrap his arm around her waist like he really wanted to.
“Yeah, you know I thought that you and I could go see a movie together, maybe on a…” he said with a little hesitation before he added, “date.” In his eyes you could tell that he was nearly ready for a rejection but in his face, his smile there was hope of approval. Looking into her eyes he just waited praying that she’d say yes to the date and not completely shoot him down.
“You know, all the guys that’ll be looking at me with insane jealousy that I got to walk you home and they didn’t.” he said with a smile. He loved to tell that to girls, it usually received the ‘aww’ that he was attempting to go for but sometimes it did earn him the ‘how many times have you used that line?’ remark that made him really sad. “Shall we?” he said waving his arm invitingly in front of them allowing her to step off first.

She officially couldn't breath again. He had wrapped his arms around her own body when she'd hugged him. Damn he felt so good against her. She hadn't been this close to a guy, besides in sports, for years. Not even when she went a little crazy at clubs. Dillon was a sweetheart, he was funny, he loved soccer, and he was the cutest boy she'd ever seen. She felt disappointed when he pulled away completely and resisted the urge to wrap her arms around him again, to stay close.
CJ smiled until she heard his last word. Then her eyes started to get wide but she quickly hid that look. He'd think it would mean rejection or something and she did NOT want that. The smile was so sweet and full of hope it made her want to kiss him. "Dillon...." she had to stop to get all of her courage together to say yes. She wanted to say yes. "I would love to go on that date with you."
She blinked at his line then sighed. "Awww. You're so sweet. But there are no guys around here who would be jealous of you." CJ shrugged. No one was interested in her. Well him, hopefully. She smiled and winked at him. "And even if they were, they wouldn't stand a chance. I'd rather walk with you than anyone else." She laughed as he waved his arm for her to go ahead and started walking, sliding her hand in his, on instinct. She didn't really plan on doing it, or even thought about it. It just seemed like a natural thing to do when she was around him. Holding his hand or hugging him.
